چکیده

The article discusses the presentation of features cerebellar remodeling after traumatic brain injury (TBI) in highlands. experiment was carried out on 106 outbred male rats weighing 210-290 g compliance with rules laboratory practice. In high-altitude conditions, contrast to low-altitude significant changes occur cerebellum, namely, membrane potential cells, ectopia Purkinje pronounced molecular and granular layers.

Neurovascular proteases in brain injury, hemorrhage and remodeling after stroke.

Matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) mediate tissue injury during acute stroke. Clinical data show that elevated MMPs in plasma of stroke patients may correlate with outcomes, suggesting its use as a biomarker. MMP-9 signal has also been detected in clinical stroke brain tissue samples. Because tissue plasminogen activator can upregulate MMPs via lipoprotein receptor signaling, these neurovascular ...

Age-related changes in the oligodendrocyte progenitor pool influence brain remodeling after injury.

Brain remodeling occurs after all forms of brain injury, though the mechanisms underlying this phenomenon are mostly unknown. Neural stem and progenitor cells are one source of endogenous cells that may contribute to brain remodeling and subsequent recovery. In addition, certain populations of progenitors are particularly susceptible to injury, and their depletion may lead to the impairment of ...
